Still Life Studies**
Although now almost totally abstracted, the work includes flowers - both wild and cultivated - from the gardens of the Alhambra in Granada and the Alcazar in Seville. Photographic and artistic studies are also included as textures and elements with multiple exposures, overpainting, paint drips, scribbles and displacement effects.
Many of these original studies were used to create an extensive collection of fabric designs and artworks for both abstract and figurative patterns including the styles and designs of the amazing tiling and architectural features.
