** Fizzy Pop Series:

Continuing my experimentation with new digital media and painting. The artwork is painted with a digital brush which can achieve effects impossible by traditional means. Part of the 'Fizzy Pop' series. This particular artwork uses a brush 'loaded' with paint spots where the parameters (chosen by the artist) are altered to create different splatter effects. All the spots are perfectly symmetrical but are painted in such a way as to give the impression of depth or perspective.

About This Artwork:

Larmes, or Tears; aka Larmes de Verre, in English, Glass Tears, is a black and white photograph created between 1930 and 1932 by the American photographer Man Ray. The image was published in the December 1935 issue of the surrealist art magazine Minotaur, though a cropped image of a single eye had appeared in a 1934 book of Ray's photographs.
